Retransmission Dispute With Time Warner Cable
WGME owner Sinclair Broadcast Group and Time Warner Cable are in a dispute over the terms of their retransmission consent agreement that expired on December 31, 2010. The agreement was extended to January 14, 2011 while the parties continued to negotiate. An agreement in principle to resolve the dispute followed shortly thereafter and was finalized in February 2011.
