On 8 November 2010, a sequel was announced by Behavior Interactive (formerly Artificial Mind and Movement), but rumors of its cancellation began on 17 May 2011, when an employee listed the project as canceled on their LinkedIn profile. Also, Bethesda Softworks, publishers of Wet, stated that they would not be the publishers of the sequel.
