In the fall WWVA competes in Co-Ed Soccer, Cross Country, and Women's Volleyball. The varsity soccer and volleyball teams compete in the annual Fall Classics, an Adventist high school tournament, hosted by the neighboring Walla Walla University. In the winter students may compete in Men's and Women's basketball. At the end of the season they compete in a simliar tournament hosted by Walla Walla University called the Friendship Tournament. In the spring WWVA offers Track and Field, Co-Ed baseball, and Co-Ed Golf.

WWVA also offers a program called AcroKinghts, an acrobatics team. While not in technicality a sport with the team performing at various venues instead of competing against other acrobatic teams, this is offered year-round and students are awarded with credits. The team does a bi-annual mission trip to various countries with past trips including Belize and Jamacia. The team's largest performance to date was at the March 12, 2013 Portland TrailBlazers game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Former Basketball Players

Zach Tatro- Tatro led the league in turnovers for three consecutive years while playing at the varsity level. His career high points in a game was a sad 9 points coming in a loss against Monterey Bay Academy. Tatro once claimed that he dunked when no one was around to see him so he could prove it. Upon graduation, the team excelled without him due to the fact that his average of 6 turnovers per game no longer plagued the team.

Jordan Steffanson- Steffanson was a middle school prodigy that was expected to lead the Knights once he got to the Academy. Thing did not go according to expectations. In his two seasons at the JV, Steffanson only posted one game where he scored over 5 points. His career high of 7 points against the Desales C team was the highlight of his entire high school career.

Former Soccer Players

Kevin Nateras- Kevin Nateras came from the slums of San Diego to Walla Walla and joined the Knights soccer team as a freshmen. Much was not expected from him, therefore, it wasn't a shock that he never produced impressive stats during his first three years playing under the shadow of superstar, Israel Campechano. After Campechano's departure, it was believed that Nateras would fill the void that Campechano had left. It was apparent that he would not be able to do so.

Israel Campechano- Campechano joined the Knights his sophomore year. What was once a bombed and depleted team, turned into a prosperous goal scoring machine of a team upon his arrival. He holds the record for most goals scored at a tournament with 9, which he accomplished without ever playing a full game. He would have joined the University of North Carolina's soccer team after receiving a full ride scholarship for his incredible talent but opted instead to go with his hometown school, Walla Walla University.
