W New Orleans

W New Orleans is a high-rise building in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The building rises 279 feet (85 m). It contains 23 floors, and was completed in 1984. W New Orleans is currently tied with Charity Hospital as the 28th-tallest building in the city. It also stands as the 8th-tallest hotel in New Orleans. The architectural firm who designed the building was DMJM. The structure is an example of modern architecture.

The building houses a 4-star W Hotel with 423 guest rooms.

It was sold in 2013 and will be renamed Le Méridien New Orleans in 2014, following a renovation.
