Honors
Honors include the Victor Posner Center for Communicative Disorders, University of Miami Ear Institute (named in his honor) and an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree, University of Miami. In 1988, three million dollars in charitable donations were ordered as part of a sentence for tax evasion. He was also required to work 5000 hours of community service time.
