ValueClick operates in five segments: Media, Affiliate Marketing, Online Publishing, Mobile and Technology.
- ValueClick, Inc. The Media segment provides a range of online media solutions in the categories of display advertising, lead generation marketing, and email marketing, as well as sells various consumer products directly to end-user customers through company owned e-commerce Web sites.
- Commission Junction. The Affiliate Marketing segment enables advertisers to develop their own online sales force made up of third-party affiliate publishers. Its affiliate marketing search services include search engine marketing and search syndication.
- ValueClick Brands. The Publishing segment operates properties that specialize in personal finance, health, shopping, coupons, and deals. Coupon Mountain and Investopedia are this segment's key properties.
- Mediaplex. The Technology segment offers technology infrastructure tools and services that enable advertisers and advertising agencies to implement and manage their own online display advertising, search, affiliate, social, and email campaigns. Mediaplex's MOJO platform focuses on smarter ad serving, tag management, data management, media attribution, and real-time display bidding via the MOJO Demand-Side Platform (DSP).
- Dotomi. Newest segment of ValueClick, Dotomi helps marketers rethink display advertising with a new approach called Personalized Media. This approach allows granular decisions ranging from specific banner creative to media placement to be determined in real-time at the user and impression level. By making every online impression unique, consumers enjoy more meaningful advertisements and companies enjoy higher returns and improved user engagement.
