Famous quotes containing the words seized by, seized and/or customs:

Man lives two lives, woe, were it otherwise! One is seized by death, the other one, his honor, remains.
    Franz Grillparzer (1791–1872)

I sink from reverie to rest.
An horrid vision seized my head,
I saw the graves give up their dead.
    Jonathan Swift (1667–1745)
