List of Teams To Have Won The Three Main European Club Competitions
To date, only four teams have won all three main UEFA club competitions (European Champions Clubs' Cup-UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Cup-Europa League):
- Juventus, after their European Champions Cup win in 1985.
- Ajax, after their UEFA Cup win in 1992.
- Bayern Munich, after their UEFA Cup win in 1996.
- Chelsea, after their UEFA Europa League win in 2013.
Juventus has received, in recognition of being the first side in European football history to win all three major UEFA club competitions, The UEFA Plaque from the Union of European Football Associations in 1988.
Several Clubs have won two out of three of these competitions; of these clubs Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Porto, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven all cannot win all three as they have not won the now retired UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Anderlecht, Valencia, Tottenham Hotspur, Atlético Madrid, Parma require a UEFA Champions League to complete the set. AC Milan, Barcelona, Manchester United, Hamburg, Borussia Dortmund all require a UEFA Europa League to complete the set.

Famous quotes containing the words list, teams, won, main, european and/or club:
“Weigh what loss your honor may sustain
If with too credent ear you list his songs,
Or lose your heart, or your chaste treasure open
To his unmastered importunity.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“A sturdy lad from New Hampshire or Vermont who in turn tries all the professions, who teams it, farms it, peddles, keeps a school, preaches, edits a newspaper, goes to Congress, buys a township, and so forth, in successive years, and always like a cat falls on his feet, is worth a hundred of these city dolls. He walks abreast with his days and feels no shame in not studying a profession, for he does not postpone his life, but lives already.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“The vast results obtained by Science are won by no mystical faculties, by no mental processes other than those which are practiced by every one of us, in the humblest and meanest affairs of life. A detective policeman discovers a burglar from the marks made by his shoe, by a mental process identical with that by which Cuvier restored the extinct animals of Montmartre from fragments of their bones.”
—Thomas Henry Huxley (182595)
“Women are taught that their main goal in life is to serve othersfirst men, and later, children. This prescription leads to enormous problems, for it is supposed to be carried out as if women did not have needs of their own, as if one could serve others without simultaneously attending to ones own interests and desires. Carried to its perfection, it produces the martyr syndrome or the smothering wife and mother.”
—Jean Baker Miller (20th century)
“If Germany, thanks to Hitler and his successors, were to enslave the European nations and destroy most of the treasures of their past, future historians would certainly pronounce that she had civilized Europe.”
—Simone Weil (19091943)
“We have ourselves to answer for.”
—Jennie June Croly 18291901, U.S. founder of the womans club movement, journalist, author, editor. Demorests Illustrated Monthly and Mirror of Fashions, pp. 24-5 (January 1870)
