Tylosaurus, as a large mosasaur, is frequently depicted in popular culture. It has featured in National Geographic's Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure, Sea Monsters - A Walking with Dinosaurs Trilogy, and Dinosaur Revolution, among others.
A 34 ft. long Tylosaurus found in Kansas by Alan Komrosky in 2009 is now on display at the Museum of World Treasures in Wichita, Kansas.
