cover the pale blossoms of your breast
    With your dim heavy hair,
And trouble with a sigh for all things longing for rest
    The odorous twilight there.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

To watch that world come up like a cold sun,
    Rewarding others, is my liberty.
Not to prevent it is my will’s fulfilment.
    Willing it, my ailment.
