Services
Truro is served by all First Great Western trains on the Cornish Main Line between Penzance and Plymouth with one train per hour in each direction. Some trains run through to or from London Paddington station, including the Night Riviera overnight sleeping car service. There are a limited number of CrossCountry trains providing a service to North England and Scotland in the morning and returning in the evening.
The Maritime Line to Falmouth Docks starts from Truro. A revised service from May 2009 sees a regular interval service of two trains each hour for most of the day during the week.
