The True Colors Tour is an annual music tour created by American pop singer Cyndi Lauper in 2007. The tour benefits the Human Rights Campaign and other organizations that provide support to the LGBT community and to the straight friends and family who love them, including PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) and the Matthew Shepard Foundation, as well as local organizations in cities where the concerts were held. The tour was hosted by comedian Margaret Cho as MC, and stopped at sixteen cities between June 8 and June 30, 2007, with additional dates in 2008.

Famous quotes containing the words true, colors and/or tour:
“The true faith discovered was
When painted panel, statuary,
Glass-mosaic, window-glass,
Amended what was told awry
By some peasant gospeller....”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“Painting myself for others, I have painted my inward self with colors clearer than my original ones. I have no more made my book than my book has made mea book consubstantial with its author, concerned with my own self, an integral part of my life; not concerned with some third-hand, extraneous purpose, like all other books.”
—Michel de Montaigne (15331592)
“Do you know I believe that [William Jennings] Bryan will force his nomination on the Democrats again. I believe he will either do this by advocating Prohibition, or else he will run on a Prohibition platform independent of the Democrats. But you will see that the year before the election he will organize a mammoth lecture tour and will make Prohibition the leading note of every address.”
—William Howard Taft (18571930)
