History
The TSCHL was formed in 2010 and consisted of 8 teams for its first season. A number of the league's current members were part of the now defunct Great Lakes Intercollegiate Hockey Association (GLIHA), while others joined from College Hockey East and Midwest Collegiate Hockey League (MCHL). All 9 members currently compete within the ACHA Division II Southeast Region.
