Top of The World (park)

Top of the World is a community park located in Laguna Beach, California. The park's official name is Alta Laguna Park, but it is referred to as Top of the World. It is located at the north end of Alta Laguna Blvd. The park has its name because it is located about a thousand feet above sea level, and you can see almost all of Orange County from the park on a particularly clear day. The park provides hiking and biking trail head for the Aliso and Wood Canyons Regional Park.

Famous quotes containing the words top and/or world:

The necessary has never been man’s top priority. The passionate pursuit of the nonessential and the extravagant is one of the chief traits of human uniqueness. Unlike other forms of life, man’s greatest exertions are made in the pursuit not of necessities but of superfluities.
    Eric Hoffer (1902–1983)

National literature does not mean much these days; now is the age of world literature, and every one must contribute to hasten the arrival of that age.
    Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749–1832)
