Tim Hugo
Timothy D. "Tim" Hugo (born January 7, 1963) is an American politician. Since 2003 he has served in the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 40th district, made up of parts of Fairfax and Prince William Counties in the Washington, D.C. suburbs. Hugo is a member of the Republican Party, and has been majority caucus chair in the House since 2010.
Hugo has served on the House committees on Commerce and Labor (2007–), Education (2003), Finance (2004–), Privileges and Elections (2003–2006 and 2010–), Science and Technology (2007–2009), and Transportation (2003–).
Hugo is executive director of the Free File Alliance, an association of tax preparation companies that work with the Internal Revenue Service to provide taxpayers with free uploads of electronic returns.
