Tim Brown (footballer)
Tim Brown (born 6 March 1981) is a New Zealand professional association football player who last played as a midfielder for the Wellington Phoenix in the A-League. He is one of 7 foundation players of the club who were signed in 2007 for its inaugural season in the A-League and is also the club vice-captain and all-time leading appearance record holder.
Brown is known for his exceptionally high work rate as a box-to-box midfielder who can defend hard and makes trademark late runs into penalty box where he scores nearly all of his goals.
