Tim and The Hidden People

Tim and the Hidden People by Sheila K McCullagh is a 1970s reading scheme originally devised for young children 4-7yrs. It consists of 32 books, each 32 pages long and illustrated by Pat Cook and later Ray Mutimer. There are also four lesser known paperback "novella" books intended for older readers. Sheila McCullagh also wrote many other books including Puddle Lane, The Village with Three Corners, Dragon Pirate Stories, Griffin Pirate Stories et al.

Famous quotes containing the words hidden and/or people:

Wordsworth went to the Lakes, but he was never a lake poet. He found in stones the sermons he had already hidden there.
    Oscar Wilde (1854–1900)

Not infrequently, we encounter copies of important human beings; and here, too, as in the case of paintings, most people prefer the copies to the originals.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
