Offshore Allegations
On May 29, 2013, the Armenian online news agency Hetq published an article on their investigation around WLISPERA HOLDINGS LIMITED, an offshore company registered in Cyprus. According to Hetq, the company has three equal shareholders, including Tigran Sargsyan, Archbishop Navasard Kjoyan (the Primate of the Ararat Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church) and businessman Ashot Sukiasyan. On June 3, 2013 Tigran Sargsyan denied any connection with the offshore company and requested the Armenian Prosecutor-General to look into the case.
