TiECON is the world’s largest annual conference for entrepreneurs with participation from top technology companies, leading venture capital firms, and global service providers. It attracts over 3,000 attendees from across the world who collectively impact a significant portion of high technology businesses worldwide. TiECON is TiE Chennai’s most important annual event, which attracts business leaders, bankers, VCs, entrepreneurs (veteran, emerging and aspiring) as well as students and other members of the public. TiECON CHENNAI 2011 held last year at the Chennai Convention Centre was a great success, with an audience of over 1200. This signature event, with its theme as “Opportunities – See it, Size it, Seize it!” provided a breathtaking array of networking and business opportunities and included Lots of programs.

TiECON CHENNAI 2012 this year will be a two day event. The prestigious TiE Chennai Entrepreneur Awards would take place at Hotel Grand Hyatt at a gala evening function on December 3, 2012. The conference sessions would to be held at the Chennai Convention Centre on December 4, 2012. Over 1200 delegates are expected to attend this year’s conference, comprising Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, VC’s, Angel Investors, Regulators, Bankers,Academia and Students. The theme chosen for this year is “Powering the Next Step”, focusing on the continuous ‘next steps’ that entrepreneurs take in their journey and how these get ‘powered’ as they grow from being start-ups to become mature enterprises.
