Political Career

Gamble served as Mayor of Prince Albert and Secretary to the Mayor of Prince Albert, until he became Beardy's chief executive. He ran for Mayor of Duck Lake in 1932 and won the election. He took office in early 1933 and was re-elected in 1934, serving until 1937. He did not run for re-election in 1936, but was returned to office in 1938 and was re-elected in 1940, 1942 and 1944.
