The Professional Commons organized the first and only open and televised forum for candidates for Hong Kong deputies to the National People's Congress, on 22 January 2008.
It also organized, together with the Office of Anson Chan, a Pre-Budget Forum to discuss the 2008/09 budget on 18 February 2008.
