The Nottingham Academy

The Nottingham Academy is an all-through Academy in Sneinton, Nottingham, England. It places an emphasis on technology, and is attended by 3600 pupils aged 3–19. The Nottingham Academy is a specialist technology college. The school is designated as a Leading Edge school and a National Support School. The school is intended to become a city academy. Prior to earning Academy Status, the Academy consisted of three separate schools, one of which was Greenwood Dale, highlighted by Ofsted in 2009 as one of 12 outstanding schools serving disadvantaged communities. The others were Elliot Durham school and Jessie Boot School.
