The Master Genealogist - Limitations

Limitations

  • Before version 8, reports generated on computers with 64-bit operating systems (only) were limited to "txt", HTML, and PDF output, although popular word processor reporting formats were supported on 32-bit platforms. The print routine was rewritten for the current version of the program eliminating this restriction.
  • Some users have complained about the limitations in the program's multilingual support. This issue is focused on personal pronoun and other individual word replacement resulting in output that may have minor grammar errors.

Famous quotes containing the word limitations:

That all may be so, but when I begin to exercise that power I am not conscious of the power, but only of the limitations imposed on me.
    William Howard Taft (1857–1930)

Growing up means letting go of the dearest megalomaniacal dreams of our childhood. Growing up means knowing they can’t be fulfilled. Growing up means gaining the wisdom and skills to get what we want within the limitations imposed by reality—a reality which consists of diminished powers, restricted freedoms and, with the people we love, imperfect connections.
    Judith Viorst (20th century)

Much of what contrives to create critical moments in parenting stems from a fundamental misunderstanding as to what the child is capable of at any given age. If a parent misjudges a child’s limitations as well as his own abilities, the potential exists for unreasonable expectations, frustration, disappointment and an unrealistic belief that what the child really needs is to be punished.
    Lawrence Balter (20th century)
