Movie

In the early 2000s, The Forge of God and Anvil of Stars, as well as an as-yet-unwritten third book, were optioned by Warner Bros. to be made into movies. It was reported that Stephen Susco worked on a script for The Forge Of God. In July 2006 Greg Bear mentioned on his website that the movie is "Still under option. Studio engaged in 'silent running.' Famous quotes containing the word movie:

All television ever did was shrink the demand for ordinary movies. The demand for extraordinary movies increased. If any one thing is wrong with the movie industry today, it is the unrelenting effort to astonish.

Most of them have found God, or at least a publisher.
    Calvin Trillin (b. 1935)

This movie deals with the epidemic of the way we live now.
