Top 3 Finishes Table

Prior to the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier, there were no bronze medal games, so the third place finishes listed in the table are for the teams that finished third in the tournament. Following the introduction of bronze medal games, which are played between the loser of the page 3 vs. 4 playoff game and the loser of the semifinal game, the third place finishes listed are for the teams that won the bronze medal games in each Brier.

Famous quotes containing the words top, finishes and/or table:

She isn’t harassed. She’s busy, and it’s glamorous to be busy. Indeed, the image of the on- the-go working mother is very like the glamorous image of the busy top executive. The scarcity of the working mother’s time seems like the scarcity of the top executive’s time.... The analogy between the busy working mother and the busy top executive obscures the wage gap between them at work, and their different amounts of backstage support at home.
    Arlie Hochschild (20th century)

There are three times in a man’s life when he has the right to yell at the moon—when he marries; when his children come; and when he finishes a job he had to be crazy to start.
    Borden Chase [Frank Fowler] (1900–1971)

When the painted birds laugh in the shade,
When our table with cherries and nuts is spread:
Come live, and be merry, and join with me
To sing the sweet chorus of ‘Ha, ha, he!’
    William Blake (1757–1827)
