The Axe Gang (Simplified Chinese: 斧头帮 fǔ tóu bāng) is a fictional gang that has appeared in a few Hong Kong martial arts films, the most recent being the Hong Kong film Ip Man.
The fictional version of the Axe Gang is based on a real-life Axe Gang in Shanghai around Japanese Occupation with a leader named Wang Ya Qiao. They also had a fifteen-year-old leader known as Young Seabass known for his ferocity.
