The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario - Member and Public Services

Member and Public Services

RGD Ontario offers membership for professional practitioners, managers, educators and students in graphic design, and for persons in allied professions.

Graphic design can provide fully integrated solutions that position products or services in the marketplace for success. Good design can make a company be more visible, look more sophisticated, communicate better, act smarter, faster, and end up more powerful and desirable than the competition.

Registered Graphic Designers have been certified to be able to meet at least the minimum standard of professional practice in graphic design as defined by RGD Ontario.

Famous quotes containing the words member, public and/or services:

While waiting to get married, several forms of employment were acceptable. Teaching kindergarten was for those girls who stayed in school four years. The rest were secretaries, typists, file clerks, or receptionists in insurance firms or banks, preferably those owned or run by the family, but respectable enough if the boss was an upstanding Christian member of the community.
    Barbara Howar (b. 1934)

These native villages are as unchanging as the woman in one of their stories. When she was called before a local justice he asked her age. “I have 45 years.” “But,” said the justice, “you were forty-five when you appeared before me two years ago.” “SeƱor Judge,” she replied proudly, drawing herself to her full height, “I am not of those who are one thing today and another tomorrow!”
State of New Mexico, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

The community and family networks which helped sustain earlier generations have become scarcer for growing numbers of young parents. Those who lack links to these traditional sources of support are hard-pressed to find other resources, given the emphasis in our society on providing treatment services, rather than preventive services and support for health maintenance and well-being.
    Bernice Weissbourd (20th century)
