Terry Greer - Toronto Argonauts

Toronto Argonauts

Greer first was picked by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1981 NFL Draft, but was traded to the Argonauts. In 1983, as his most productive year, he led the team to the Grey Cup, playing the B.C. Lions. He was the MVP of the CFL East Division, and that same year, he was the first professional football player of all time to gain 2000 yards in a 16-season game, with 2,003. He attempted to win once more in 1985, but lost during the Cup. He then left CFL to join the Cleveland Browns after the 1984 CFL season.
