Tenkasi (Tamil: தென்காசி) is one of the largest municipalities in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located in the foothills of the Western Ghats near the Courtallam Waterfalls.Tenkasi is famous for its saaral (சாரல் drizzling).
