Taiwan (Republic of China)
Ten Outstanding Young Persons (Chinese: 十大傑出青年) is an award given annually to ten young people in the Republic of China (Taiwan) recognizing their achievements. Most, if not all, of the recipients are honoured for their excellence in the academic field or in sports, even though they came from humble, or even impoverished, backgrounds. It was first given in 1963.
