T. J. Caig - Playing Career

Playing Career

After three seasons with the University of Minnesota Duluth, Caig signed for the Nijmegen Emperors in the Netherlands where his 48 goals in all competitions made him top scorer. He then moved to German Oberliga side Heilbronn Falcons, where his 39 goals ensured the team's promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. This was followed by a brief spell in the Austrian Hockey League with Graz 99ers before moving to France's Ligue Magnus with Bisons de Neuilly-sur-Marne. In 2009, Caig moved to North America for the first time since turning professional, signing with the CHL's Tulsa Oilers.

After leading the Oilers in goals with 23, Caig returned for a second stint the Dutch Eredivisie signing a one-year contract with HYS the Hague on September 4, 2010.

Famous quotes containing the words playing and/or career:

Is this then a touch? quivering me to a new identity,
Flames and ether making a rush for my veins,
Treacherous tip of me reaching and crowding to help them,
My flesh and blood playing out lightning to strike what is hardly
    different from myself,
On all sides prurient provokers stiffening my limbs,
    Walt Whitman (1819–1892)

What exacerbates the strain in the working class is the absence of money to pay for services they need, economic insecurity, poor daycare, and lack of dignity and boredom in each partner’s job. What exacerbates it in upper-middle class is the instability of paid help and the enormous demands of the career system in which both partners become willing believers. But the tug between traditional and egalitarian models of marriage runs from top to bottom of the class ladder.
    Arlie Hochschild (20th century)
