Swiftcover

Swiftcover was formed in 2005 by a group of former Churchill Insurance executives. In 2007 AXA UK acquired swiftcover.com. It is now a wholly owned subsidiary of AXA UK plc which forms part of AXA Group. It claims to be the only 100% online internet based insurance company in the UK, and that it has no call centres because it sells all policies over the internet, which is a false claim because it has a calls centres in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and in Teesside. However, despite the use of call centres customers can manage their policy without the need of a telephone. Changes to the policy can be made online and any contact can be done via email, meaning most customers can have a 100% online insurance product.
