Sverdlovsky District is a name of several administrative territorial units common across the former Soviet Union dedicated to a prominent Communist Party figure Yakov Sverdlov. Currently only few of those administrative territorial units carry his name three of them located in the Russian Federation, one in the Eastern Ukraine and another is part of the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek.
