Boundaries
The constituency covers the northern part of the City of Birmingham district in the West Midlands. It corresponds to the former borough of Sutton Coldfield. Following the Fifth Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies which reported prior to the 2010 general election, Sutton Coldfield contained the electoral wards of Sutton Four Oaks, Sutton Trinity, Sutton Vesey, and Sutton New Hall. It is the only constituency within the Birmingham City Council area not have the name Birmingham in its title.
