The Oracle Certified Associate certificate exam covers the basics of the Java programming language and an overview of all Java programming technologies including web, mobile and standard edition (SE). It also covers the basics of UML object modeling language.
The Sun Certified Java Associate certification has been replaced by the Oracle Certified Java Associate Programmer I certificate exam.
