Steve Burguiere - Radio Life

Radio Life

Glenn Beck left KC101 to work in talk radio at WFLA in Tampa. Soon after, Burguiere took his job as co-host of the morning show with Vinnie Penn. After a year, he moved to Tampa to produce the "Glenn Beck Program", and host "The Stu Show" on Saturdays on WFLA. Burguiere introduced many humorous elements to the Glenn Beck show, posing as celebrity callers (such as Obama advisor "Honkey Whitesville", a parody of real-life Obama advisor Jason Furman) and generally provided a friendly counterpoint to Beck. Burguiere and fellow staff member Dan Andros occasionally hosted after-show shows on Beck's "Insider" audio stream. Burguiere also filled in as host for Beck since the show became nationally syndicated.

Burguiere now co-hosts Pat & Stu with Pat Gray, a 2 hour-long program available on the Dish Network channel 212 and "The Blaze TV" online every weekday at 12:00 Noon EST.

Famous quotes containing the words radio and/or life:

A bibulation of sports writers, a yammer of radio announcers, a guilt of umpires, an indigence of writers.
    Walter Wellesley (Red)

What is the life of man! Is it not to shift from side to side?—from sorrow to sorrow?—to button up one cause of vexation!—and unbutton another!
    Laurence Sterne (1713–1768)
