4 child actors, though they were not hosts, opened the night with an interesting little skit. They parodied antics of adult actors during past Star Awards events. In order of appearance, Jarren Ho acted as mini-Li Nanxing, Rachell Ng as mini-Fann Wong, Tan Xin Yi as mini-Zoe Tay and Tan Ruxin as mini-Chen Li Ping.
