Links With Essex County Buses

Former Stansted Transit director Sian Morris went on to run Essex County Buses (ECB) as an unappointed director in partnership with registered company director Jamie Hammond. This company competed with First Group on the number 42 bus route (Galleywood to Broomfield Hospital), the number 70 bus route between Colchester and Braintree and routes 81, 82 and B3 around Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

Essex County Buses' fleet included former airport buses that had formerly been used by Stansted Transit. Essex County Buses was also wound up for similar reasons to Stansted Transit: failure to file accounts and non-payment to HM Revenue and Customs.

Famous quotes containing the words links with, links, essex and/or county:

All nationalisms are at heart deeply concerned with names: with the most immaterial and original human invention. Those who dismiss names as a detail have never been displaced; but the peoples on the peripheries are always being displaced. That is why they insist upon their continuity—their links with their dead and the unborn.
    John Berger (b. 1926)

Nothing is more indispensable to true religiosity than a mediator that links us with divinity.
    Novalis [Friedrich Von Hardenberg] (1772–1801)

Well, it seems to me a scientist has need for both vision and confidence.
    —Harry Essex (b. 1910)

Anti-Nebraska, Know-Nothings, and general disgust with the powers that be, have carried this county [Hamilton County, Ohio] by between seven and eight thousand majority! How people do hate Catholics, and what a happiness it was to show it in what seemed a lawful and patriotic manner.
    Rutherford Birchard Hayes (1822–1893)
