Programming
Over the years, programming has grown, changed, and expanded, with periodic reviews and adjustments to update priorities and sharpen focus. In addition to a diverse series of events and programs, the Stanley Foundation has historically been recognized for his media. From 1974 to 2004, the foundation published the influential international news magazine World Press Review. Common Ground, an award-winning weekly radio program on world affairs, ran from 1980 to 2004. The Stanley Foundation's current work includes specific actions toward policy change in the strategic functional areas of the evolving global system, nuclear security, human protection, as well as educational efforts. The foundation continues to supplement its policy work by gathering and producing its own audio, video, and photographic resources from around the world.

Famous quotes containing the word programming:
“If there is a price to pay for the privilege of spending the early years of child rearing in the drivers seat, it is our reluctance, our inability, to tolerate being demoted to the backseat. Spurred by our success in programming our children during the preschool years, we may find it difficult to forgo in later states the level of control that once afforded us so much satisfaction.”
—Melinda M. Marshall (20th century)
