Famous quotes containing the words native americans, native and/or americans:

It almost seems that nobody can hate America as much as native Americans. America needs new immigrants to love and cherish it.
    Eric Hoffer (1902–1983)

It seems as if the more youthful and impressible streams can hardly resist the numerous invitations and temptations to leave their native beds and run down their neighbors’ channels.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

We Americans are supposed to be overly concerned about the child. Agnes E. Meyer (1887–1970)
