Kickboxing

Kickboxing is the sport that Greece has produced multiple all time great fighters in the sport. It is one of the smallest sports in Greece, but it has its followers.

• Greece's 'Iron' Mike Zambidis is the current world's welterweight Kickboxing champion with the King Of The Ring belt and he is a 15 time world Kickboxing champion. Pound for pound, he is considered to be one of the best kickboxers in the world, under International Kickboxing rules.
• Stam 'The Showman' Bitakos is the current world's Muay-Thai champion with the King Of The Ring belt and is famous as the person that brought Muay-Thai in Greece

Kickboxing however is much more popular amongst Greeks of Diaspora, especially in Melbourne, Australia, which has given many legends of the sport, such as:

• Stan 'The Man' Longinidis, who's a former 8 time world champion, and is regarded by many as the best kickboxer (under international rules) ever
• Tosca Petridis, who's a former 7 time world champion.
• 'King' Arthur Tsakonas, who's a former world champion.
• As well as other greats such as Louie 'The Ice' Iosifidis, Evangelos Goussis, Nick 'Thunderkick' Talakouris, and many others.
