Soca Warriors Supporters Club

The Soca Warriors Supporters Club, also called The Warrior Nation, is a non-profit Trinidadian football fan organization. It is independent of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) and run entirely by volunteers. It was inaugurated on December 12, 2005.

The Club strives to be a link between Trinidad and Tobago national football team's and their fans. Its activities include promoting teams locally and globally, lobbying the TTFF as representatives of football fans, advocating fair pricing and allocation of event tickets, organizing travel for fans to home and away games, providing a family-oriented fans' organisation, and promoting football among the young people of Trinidad and Tobago at home and abroad. The supporters club is mainly run by Nigel Myers and Soca Warriors Online founder Inshan Mohammed (Flex).

Famous quotes containing the words warriors, supporters and/or club:

Those who consider the Devil to be a partisan of Evil and angels to be warriors for Good accept the demagogy of the angels. Things are clearly more complicated.
    Milan Kundera (b. 1929)

His [O.J. Simpson’s] supporters lined the freeway to cheer him on Friday and commentators talked about his tragedy. Did those people see the photographs of the crime scene and the great blackening pools of blood seeping into the sidewalk? Did battered women watch all this on television and realize more vividly than ever before that their lives were cheap and their pain inconsequential?
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)

In another year I’ll have enough money saved. Then I’m gonna go back to my hometown in Oregon and I’m gonna build a house for my mother and myself. And join the country club and take up golf. And I’ll meet the proper man with the proper position. And I’ll make a proper wife who can run a proper home and raise proper children. And I’ll be happy, because when you’re proper, you’re safe.
    Daniel Taradash (b. 1913)
