3rd Mall Expansion
After the expansions in 2004 and 2009, SM City Fairview is planning on building its 3rd expansion, just 4 years after building the 2nd Annex of the mall. This is seen as a preparation for the opening of its newest rival, Ayala's Fairview Terraces, which is just in front of SM City Fairview's Main Building. The new building is rumored to house an IMAX theater, and a Director's Club cinema, which only seats 45-50 people.
The 3rd expansion is already in its planning stages and is expected to open on the 4th Quarter of 2014.
