Sir Beaufort Stakes

The Sir Beaufort Stakes is a Thoroughbred horse race run annually near the end of each December at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. A Grade II stakes race for three-year-old horses, it was first run ijn 2000. The race is contested at a distance of 1 mile (8 furlongs) on the turf.

Due to poor racecourse conditions as a result of wet weather, the Sir Beaufort Stakes was switched to the main dirt track in 2003, 2008 and again in 2010.

In 2005, the race was run in two divisions.
