Simhapuri Express

The Simhapuri Express (Telugu:-సింహపురి ఎక్స్ ప్రెస్) (Hindi:-सिम्हपुरि एक्स प्रेस) is a train operated by South Central Railways of Indian Railways between Secunderabad(సికిందరాబాద్) and Gudur( గూడూరు), a town in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. The train is introduced in 2006 railway budget of India. The train was initially commissioned to Vijayawada but later extended to Gudur and named as Simhapuri Express. Train is operated by Secunderabad Division of S.C.R. Simhapuri is the old name of present day Nellore city.

The train is operated on daily basis and is not only popular but also very important as it contributes maximum in the reduction of heavy rush.
