Two of the great classic works of Punjabi literature, the 'Heer Ranjha', refer to the Sials. the beautiful and wilful heroines of this cultural epics, Heer, is depicted as young ladie of noble Sial family; and she is shown as independent-minded, confident women, in revolt against traditional tribal conservatism
