The Shire of Mornington was a local government area on the western Mornington Peninsula about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The shire covered an area of 90.65 square kilometres (35.0 sq mi) immediately to the south of Frankston, and existed from 1960 until 1994.
