Shifa College of Medicine

Shifa College of Medicine is a medical school located in Islamabad, Pakistan 33°25′N 73°02′E / 33.41°N 73.04°E / 33.41; 73.04. Shifa was affiliated with Bahria University, but was granted a University Charter by the President of Pakistan. It is now affiliated with the Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University. The school was founded in 1998 by the Foundation, an organization developed by American-Pakistani physicians, with the intention of creating an institution which imparted medical knowledge on a level equivalent to medical schools in the United States.

The college is listed in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED), WHO Directory of Medical Schools, and is a member of International Association of Medical Regulatory Authority (IAMRA).
