Shape of My Heart (Backstreet Boys Song) - Music Video

Music Video

The music video for "Shape of My Heart" was directed by Matthew Rolston from October 1 to October 2, 2000 at the Roberts Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. The entire video is shot in monochrome with a blue tint, creating a black and blue look.

The video shows the Backstreet Boys rehearsing lines onstage in an empty theater. Another set of scenes shows a man and a woman rehearsing on the stage while another man and woman watch from a desk in front of the audience in which the band sits. The characters from these scenes also feature in the scenes with the band rehearsing.

Famous quotes containing the words music and/or video:

The music stopp’d, and I stood still,
And found myself outside the Hill,
    Left alone against my will,
To go now limping as before,
And never hear of that country more!”
    Robert Browning (1812–1889)

It is among the ranks of school-age children, those six- to twelve-year-olds who once avidly filled their free moments with childhood play, that the greatest change is evident. In the place of traditional, sometimes ancient childhood games that were still popular a generation ago, in the place of fantasy and make- believe play . . . today’s children have substituted television viewing and, most recently, video games.
