Shallow Believer

Shallow Believer is an EP by American alternative rock band The Used that was released digitally on February 19, 2008. The EP is a compilation of B-sides from their first 3 studio albums, seven of them having been previously released as bonus tracks on different versions. It charted as high as #13 on iTunes top 100 albums. The artwork was done by Bert McCracken and Alex Pardee. It gets its title from a lyric in the song "Slit Your Own Throat". Dan Whitesides recorded drums for the Lies for the Liars B-sides but it has yet to be confirmed which tracks he recorded. The Used sold Shallow Believer download cards on the Get a Life Tour. Buying the card allowed fans discounts on their online store, a chance to meet the band, and "Pain" as a bonus track.

Famous quotes containing the words shallow and/or believer:

The shallow consider liberty a release from all law, from every constraint. The wise man sees in it, on the contrary, the potent Law of Laws.
    Walt Whitman (1819–1892)

Better risk loss of truth than chance of error—that is your faith-vetoer’s exact position. He is actively playing his stake as much as the believer is; he is backing the field against the religious hypothesis, just as the believer is backing the religious hypothesis against the field.
    William James (1842–1910)
